	Our Mission

		Fountain Design Ltd.’s main goal is to turn our clients ideas into reality. Through the process of developing new techniques and the application of 30 years of practical hands-on experience, we aim to facilitate the transition from Design Concept to Prototype Device.


	About Us

	Back in 1999, Mike E Galbraith (who was then a very successful project manager) had an ambition. An ambition to own his own business and earn a greater sense of achievement. Later that same year Fountain Design Ltd. was formed with the initial purpose of offering Test & Development engineering support services to Black & Decker, operating from Mike’s garage at home. A few years down the line- after the company had expanded, become incorporated to a limited company and moved into purpose built business premises- the majority of the factories that relied on Fountain Design Ltd. for support started to close or move overseas. At this point we diversified in to special purpose machine design, development and manufacture, and started to supply goods as well as services.


	And now, almost twelve years on from its humble beginnings, following further expansion and diversification in to renewable energy generation technologies, Fountain Design Ltd. is a thriving business offering a wide range of services including:

	Fountain Design Ltd. is particularly adept in the production of renewable energy technology prototypes having spent many years developing and honing new skills and techniques. We can offer extensive knowledge and experience of the design and manufacture of direct-drive generators and their components, particularly techniques for complex coil manufacture.
