Founded in 1999, FDL was originally formed to provide test and development engineering support to Black and Decker. Over the years FDL has slowly expanded into renewable energy development by collaborating with National Centres, Universities and The Carbon Trust. FDL have had the opportunity to develop and hone new skills and techniques for the design and manufacturing of direct drive generators.
