Originally founded to offer consultancy and test & development support services to Black & Decker, Fountain Design Ltd has since gone on to provide test & development solutions to a multitude of applications across many different sectors.

House of Hardy - Rod Tester
This machine tests fishing rods by apply a variable load at a variable angle and measuring the rod deflection using a vision system. This machine is part of a suite of machines provided to Hardy's of Alnwick over the past 15 years.
Vision Inspection System
Whether it is blade sharpness or component profile, FDL can design and build a precision vision inspection system to suit your budget.
Saw Blade Sharpness
Using a custom designed lighting system this machine can measure the sharpness of new and worn carbide tipped circular saw blades. This machine was part of a suite of machines supplied to Black & Decker worldwide over the past 20 years.
